MFA/2FA Setup

Overview

Before you begin:

  1. Please ensure you have both your PC and AGCO/BYOD Device
  2. You are connected to Wi-Fi
  3. You have Microsoft Authenticator app installed on your phone.

Resolution

Step 1: Access Webmail & Sign in (on PC)

  1. Access Webmail via office.com
  2. Enter your AGCO email address and select  “next”

  1. Once redirected to AGCO sign in page, enter your password and select “sign in"

  1. You will be prompted to provide more information
  2. Select “Next”

Step 2: Setup Authenticator App (On PC)

  1. You will be prompted to download the Authenticator app on your mobile device
  2. You should already have the Authenticator app pre-installed. (If you do not, please download the app via Comp Portal)
  3. Select “Next”

  1. You will be prompted to setup your account
  2. Select “Next”

  1. You will be prompted to scan a barcode. Before scanning the barcode, you must setup the authenticator app on your mobile device

Step 3: Setup Authenticator App (On Phone)

  1. Open the Authenticator app

  1. Click “Accept”

  1. Select “Continue”

  1. Select “Skip” in the top corner

  1. Select “+” in the top right corner

  1. If prompted about a backup. Select “Continue”

  1. Select “Work or School account”

  1. Select “Scan QR code”

  1. Authenticator would like to use your camera. Select “OK”

Step 4: Final setup Authenticator App (On PC & Phone)

  1. After scanning the QR code on your phone, select next on your pc

  1. On the let's try it out page, select “next”

  1. You will receive a notification on your phone via authenticator app. (open the app, if it is closed)
  2. Select “Approve”

  1. You will receive a “notification approved” on your PC.
  2. Select “Next”

  1. You will receive a “Success” page
  2. Select “Done”
